LG is expected to unveil its flagship mobile LG G8 ThinQ at the MWC 2019 scheduled next month and now a new report from South Korea along with one separate one from CNET hints that the handset will be coming with a second Display attachment. According to the claims, LG is going to bring its next flagship device with a unique dual-display setup instead on one big bezels display.
We have seen a small secondary screen on the LG-V series smartphones earlier but this time its a proper dual display. It is also speculated that the handset will be offering an optional display which can be added with a special case which is similar to that of ZTE Axon M. LG won’t be offering a foldable display like what Samsung is going to offer, but it is said to be coming with thin side bezels which will be allowing a minimum gap between these displays that will be looking like a single display.
Furthermore, it is rumored to be coming with a big 7-inch display when both the displays are connected and will be paired with a new user interface which will be allowing its users to operate the device just with hand gestures thus making it a touchless interface. There is no official confirmation on the same yet but the LG G8 ThinQ is expected to be showcased next month.
We can expect LG to launch multiple devices at the MWC 2019 and although it is not officially confirmed on which device will be offering the second display, we might see more leaks to come in the upcoming days. It will also be interesting to see how this device will be priced and compete in the market.
