Huawei Y9 Launched With Kirin 710 SoC & 6GB RAM for Rs 15,990

Update: Huawei has unveiled its new mid-range smartphone in India. With its sub-brand Honor, the company had unveiled a wide range of smartphones in the country last year. And, now the company has come up with the new Huawei Y9 smartphone wherein the pricing starts at Rs 15,990, and it would be an Amazon Exclusive product with the sale starting on January 15th. The company is also giving away their Bluetooth Handsfree earphones worth Rs 2,990 as part of the launch offer.
Huawei introduced its midrange Y9 2019 smartphone couple of months ago and now the company has started teasing the launch of the smartphone on Amazon India. The handset comes with a curved design in a 3D arc, along with a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The device will be coming in Blue, Black and Aurora Purple color variants and the pricing of the same should be announced when the device gets official.
Coming to the specifications of the handset, the Huawei Y9 2019 will be coming with a big 6.5-inch 2340 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ display along 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, we can see an Octa-core Kirin 710 12nn SoC coupled with ARM Mali- G51 MP4 GPU. Furthermore, it will be coming in 4GB and 6GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB storage which can be extended further up to 400GB via microSD card slot.
Out of the box, the handset will be coming with Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. There will be a 16MP camera on the rear along with a LED flash coupled with a 2MP secondary camera while on the front we can find a 13MP main selfie camera along with a 2MP camera. The connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity along with other connectivity options like Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, and A-GPS.
There will be a 4000mAh battery on the rear which will also support fast charging.
