LG has been very aggressive at CES 2015 and it is the only global brand to unveil a flagship smartphone at that event. After one year, the company shows same intent in showcasing their devices. Today the company has announced two new smartphones under all new K series. According to the company, the K-series devices will borrow the design inspiration from their flagship devices by having the complete button placed just below the rear camera and features a 2.5D Arc Glass display with rounded edges which the company calls as “Glossy Pebble” design.
It comes with a metallic frame around the device with a polycarbonate shell on the back. The LG K7 and LG K10 are first two devices to be launched under this brand. Though there is no word mentioned about the pricing of the device, we expect them to be priced same as the LG L series device that also sports mid-range specifications.

The LG K7/K7 LTE are the smallest devices among the K series with a 5-inch FWVGA display. It will be launched in two variants with LTE support and non-LTE support. The LG K7 LTE comes powered by an unknown 1.1GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. On the other hand, the 3G variant of LG K7 comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor but only with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
Both the devices are backed by a 2,125mAh battery that can last for a single day of normal usage. The LTE variant comes with an 8MP rear camera while the 3G variant is only limited to 5MP camera, on the front both variants of K7 features a 5MP selfie camera. The device will be available in White, Black, and Gold color options.
The LG K10 and K10 LTE with a slightly larger 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720) display. The LTE variant will be powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor while the 3G variant comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage on the LTE variant while the 3G variants are limited to 1.5GB of RAM and just 8GB of storage.
The rear cameras are upgraded to 13MP on LTE variant and 8MP on the 3G variant while the front camera remains same at 5MP resolution when compared to LG K7. Both the devices are backed by a 2,300mAh battery and will be measuring 8.8 mm thick. They will be available in White, Indigo, and Gold colors.
All the variants of LG K7 and K10 run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with UX UI overlaid. The exclusive features of the UX UI that available on the high-end are also available on these mid-range devices.
