Lenovo has been teasing the Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone from the last few months. During the MWC 2019, the company mentioned to launch its 2019 flagship smartphone in the month of June. Earlier this week, the company announced the launch date for Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone as April 23rd in China. We have already seen the company confirming few key features of the device. Now, the company also mentioned the Lenovo Z6 Pro to support 5G network.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro will come powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. Recently, OPPO launched the Reno 10x zoom edition with the same flagship Qualcomm chipset. In the coming weeks, Meizu will also launch its first ever Snapdragon 855-powered smartphone called Meizu 16s in China. All the 5G smartphones launched till date came with single SIM support.

Talking about the Lenovo Z6 Pro, the image shared on Weibo shows the device was connected to both 4G LTE and 5G networks using the dual SIM support. Just like other Chinese manufacturers, we expect the company to launch both 4G and 5G variants of the Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone. While the 4G variant might go on sale by the end of this month, the 5G variant should be coming later this year as the Chinese telecom operators are yet to rollout 5G network.

While it successor came with slider design, the upcoming Z6 Pro might feature pop-up selfie camera to offer the same fullview experience with no bezels or notch. It will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie-based ZUI out of the box. It will be coming curved glass back body with gradient color options. Considering it as a flagship device, we are expecting it to sport in-display fingerprint scanner on the rear.

Also, the device will introduce its own fast charging technology with this device. The company recently launched the mid-range Moto G7 Plus smartphone with 27W TurboPower fast charging support in China. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
