Lenovo P2 Smartphone Launched with 5100mAh Battery, starting Rs. 16999

Lenovo has launched it P2 smartphone in India and it will be exclusively available via Flipkart. The smartphone is launched in two different variants 3GB as well as 4GB that are priced at Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 17,999 respectively. The handset will go on sale starting today and will be available in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey color variant.

Flipkart is also providing launch day offers includes an exchange offer of up to Rs. 2,000 and also 10% discount on SBI credit card. Apart from this, the main feature is the battery on the device which is 5100mAh that can provide up to 3 days of battery and over 18 hours of continuous video playback. It also comes with fast charging feature that is claimed to give 30 percentage faster than Quick Charge 3.0. It can provide 10 hours of battery for 15 minutes of charge.

Earlier: A few days earlier Lenovo teased the launch of the Lenovo P2 in India soon, and now the company has confirmed the launch and has scheduled it on January 11th and will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The device will come in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey color variants. The handset will be an addition to the P series, and the interesting part is its battery that comes with a 5100mAh power with a support of 24W quick charge.

If you do not know about the handset, The Lenovo P2 comes with 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and is a dual-SIM variant that supports 4G VoLTE. There is a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It will be available in 3GB / 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of storage options that can be further extended with microSD card slot.

On the rear, there is a 13MP rear on the camera with dual-tone LED flash coupled with 5MP camera on the front. Out of the box, the handset comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which is likely to get further updates. There is also a fingerprint sensor which will enhance the security levels on the device. There are other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, NFC and other.

Earlier: Lenovo hasn’t stopped yet even after the K6 family of devices was launched. Now Lenovo has taken another step and bought two new devices – The Lenovo P2 and A Plus with different specifications. Lenovo has been busy this year, with launched of many devices and this Chinese multinational technology is also known for its wide range of Notebooks, ThinkPads and Laptops. Recently we have also seen that Lenovo and Microsoft have signed a new joint agreement by which few selected Android-powered Lenovo and Motorola devices will come pre-loaded with Microsoft-created applications like OneDrive, Office and Skype.

Lenovo P2

The Lenovo P2 will come with a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED touchscreen display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with either a 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM and 32GB onboard memory. Although the Chinese variant will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB on inbuilt storage that can be extended via microSD card on all the variants.

There is a 13MP camera sensor on the rear with LED flash, and it is accompanied with 5MP camera on the front. At the back of the device, there is a 5,100 mAh battery that supports quick charging with 24-watt charger and can also be used to charge other devices. Apart from there, there is also a fingerprint sensor on the front to enhance the security. This device will go on sale from November and will be available for 249/299 Euros.

Lenovo A Plus

The Lenovo A Plus is a budget-friendly device that will come with a 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixel resolutions and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the device is 8GB that can be extended with a microSD card.

There is a 5MP camera on the rear with single LED flash, and it is accompanied with 2MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling. On the back, there is a 2000 mAh battery, and it is also a dual-SIM variant that is available to buy for 69 Euros. Tune into Phoneradar for more information.

    they finally launched the Battery beast but it’s pricey as expected, anyone will better off buying the ZUK Z2 plus with SD820 for 1k extra!!
