After launching the 2016 Moto G lineup, Lenovo came up with the all new Moto Z modular smartphones. While the company had launched only the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India, for U.S there is also a third device called Moto G4 Play. Now the Moto G4 Play along with the Moto Z Play are imported to India, suggesting the devices to be made available soon. While the company announced only the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, the Moto Z Play was later leaked confirming the device presence.
Talking about the Moto G4 Play, it comes with a smaller 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display compared to the 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) displays of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. The Moto G4 Play also comes with Snapdragon 410 Soc coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. While the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus come with even more options like 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB Storage. While the other Mot G4 device includes a 3,000mAh battery, the Moto G4 Play is powered by a slightly smaller 2,800mAh battery.
Coming to the Moto Z Play, the leaks suggests the device to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. On the other hand, the Moto Z and Moto Z Force came with the same 5.5-inch display but with Quad HD (2560 x 140 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor whereas the other two Moto Z device includes Snapdragon 820 chipset. It packs just 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The device packs 3,600mAh battery but is said to measure just 5.9 mm.
The Moto G4 Play is imported for Rs. 6,804 which makes the final price to be around Rs. 10,000 price range. But the Moto Z Play with is imported at just Rs. 5,274 while the device is expected to be priced more than Rs. 20,000 considering its specifications.
