Lenovo has confirmed its presence at the Mobile World Congress 2016 that will be held from February 22-25 by posting the above image. While there is no word mentioned about the device that will be launched on that day, we can guess that will sport an all metal body. The design of the device from the teaser image also matches with the recently launched entry-level Lemon 3.
In January, the company has officially launched the Lemon 3 in China at a price of just 699 Yuan (approx $107 / Rs. 7,300). Talking about the specifications, it comes with a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor. At the MWC 2015, Lenovo has launched the Lenovo A7000 alongside the Vibe Shot smartphone and now we expect the company to the Lemon 3 Plus as the successor for Lemon 3 at MWC 2016.
While the Lemon 3 came with the 5-inch device, the Lemon 3 Plus is expected to feature a slightly larger 5.5-inch display with same 1080p resolution. It might be powered by the same Snapdragon 616 SoC along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Apart from a bigger battery, we don’t expect any changes in the hardware part. From the teaser image, we can expect the Lemon 3 Plus to sport an all metal body, unlike the polycarbonate body on Lemon 3.
