LeEco goes offline, partners with Top Regional Retail Chains in India

LeEco has established a strong online presence in the country with their existing range of products. Now it looks like the company is also planning to up their offline presence across the country as it plans to expand further. LeEco, formerly known as LeTv, is a global pioneering internet and technology company. It is expanding its presence not only in India but also in the US as well.
Talking about its expansion in India, the company has partnered with top Regional retail chains like Sangeetha, Poorvika. It has also extended it’s partnership with Zonal Distributors like Shivalik, AppsYouNeed, Pearl Infotech and PCH to expand its retail network. It is reported that through all these partnerships, LeEco will be able to expand its retail base to 2000 outlets across 65 cities.
By the end of this year, LeEco plans to reach 6000 – 8000 outlets. According to its current plans, the company will be offering Le 1S and the Le 1S Eco smartphones through the offline model in the first phase. But soon in months, the company has plans to further expand this space and offer the entire product portfolio in the market as well. As far as the online scenario is concerned, LeEco is the third largest smartphone brand in India.
Currently, the company is offering its Superphones via the popular e-commerce website Flipkart and its own e-commerce marketplace – LeMall. And in the case of the offline market, LeEco started with Delhi/NCR and later spread across to Mumbai & Pune. And now after all these years, it now has its presence across top 6 metros – New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The company also understands the fact that, with all these expansions in place, it would also need more service centers to cater the needs of the growing customers. Hence it plans to set up more service centers, which will be added to the already existing 555 outlets.
It would be interesting to see how this will work out for them and what results it would yield over the course of time. So stay tuned for more information on this.
