LeEco launches 55″ & 65″ Super TVs in India from Rs. 59790
The Chinese Electronic company LeEco launched it’s new range of Super TV in India at an event today which was held in New Delhi. The company started offering its services in India earlier this year by launching the Le 1S Superphone. The smartphone got a great response in the Indian market and the company has established well in the country. It is expected that the company will be expanding it’s reach in the market further now with the launch of these new Super TVs.
Talking about the TVs, the models they launched today are the Super 3 Max65, Super 3 65, and the Super 3 55 in the Super 3 series. These Super TVs run Android 5.0 based Eui. The television features an IPS display with a 4K resolution and is powered by Cortex A17 CPU with Quad-Core 1.4 GHz and Mali-T760, a quad-core GPU coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM & 8GB/16GB storage based on the model you purchase. They feature a 2.1 stereo speakers as well.
Talking about the prices, these three new televisions or the Super TVs as the company calls them, are priced at 1,49,790 INR for the Super 3 Max 65, 99,790 INR for the Super 3 65 and 59,790 INR for the Super 3 55. The company will start taking pre-orders from 10th August and it will be sold through Flipkart and LeMall.com exclusively. According to them their Super TVs will receive updates and users will stay up to date with changing technology. They are also going to bundle two years of content service membership with these TVs. The TVs will come with voice controls to control them. Your LeEco smartphones can be used as Super Remotes.
Back at CES, LeEco showed off it’s Super 4 Max65 Blade which was crowned as the ‘world’s thinnest 65-inch TV’. It was just 3.9mm in thickness, which is literally two coins put together. Soon after the company also launched the Super TVs called the 4 X50 and 4 X50 Pro. This version was one of the first to be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset and also had 3GB of RAM. The X50 was made available in 16GB and 32GB variants with prices starting from RMB 2499 (roughly translates to about 28,000 INR).
Also interestingly LeEco also acquired Vizio recently, which is a US-based television manufacturing company. They are expected to sell about 15 million TVs across the globe by next year. Considering the fact that they already have plenty of models in India, it will be interesting to see what the company comes up with here in Future.
