To add a fingerprint on your device, open the Settings and tap on Fingerprint. In the new window, tap on Fingerprints in the personal section and click on Add a fingerprint. You need to set a pin or a password for backup to add a fingerprint on your device. Now tap on Pin and set a lock screen password for your device.
