Coolpad, which got its fame for its Note 3 that came with a fingerprint sensor and many other features for the price of budget range devices. Now the company has come with Coolpad Max for the price of Rs. 24,999 and will also be the company’s flagship device. The device was initially launched in the month of April this year and will be exclusively available from Amazon India from 30th May, 12 pm onwards in Royal Gold and Rose Gold color variants.

Coolpad Max comes with a feature called as Dual Space system that will let its users have access to two accounts of Facebook, Fakebook Messenger, Whatsapp and few other applications from the same device. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device that is claimed to work with wet fingers also. The Coolpad Max comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display giving a pixel density of 401 and is powered by a 64 bit 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon processor. In China, the device is available in many storage options like but in India it has been launched in 4GB RAM with 64 GB of storage.

Sharing of the data network can be done using the tethering mode on your device. To share a Data Network on your device, open the Settings and tap on more in Wireless & Networks. Coolpad Max comes with a fingerprint scanner on its backs and helps in securing your device. To add a fingerprint on your device, open the Fingerprint Management app by tapping on it. You need to set the lock in two forms, i.e., Pattern or PIN, choose any of the options and proceed further. Now in the Fingerprint Management window, toggle the fingerprint recognition option and enter the pin that you used earlier. Now place the finger on the fingerprint scanner and lift it when the device vibrates and place again. Once the fingerprint is scanned “Fingerprint Enrollment is successful” is displayed on your screen, tap on the Finish button. You have successfully added fingerprint for your device and can add five fingerprints at max.

Does the device support OTG?

Yes, the device does support the USB OTG, and you can transfer data from the device to drive and vice versa without any interruption.

Will the Coolpad Max get Android Marshmallow 6.0 Update?
