Lava X3 is the latest entry-level smartphone from the Indian smartphone manufacturer priced at Rs. 6,499. The device comes with some impressive specifications but lacks the 4G LTE connectivity which is found in almost every other devices at this price range. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with dual SIM dual standby support.

It features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display and is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device has 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery which we can expect to last for a single day of mixed usage.

The device has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 144 x 72 x 8.45 mm and weighs 141 grams. It comes in the White colors with Silver and Gold back cover.

Comparing the Lava X3 with the InFocus Bingo 21 that was also launched today in India, the Bingo 21 with a slightly lower price tag offers few better specifications than the Lava X3. It also supports 4G LTE which is missing in the Lava X3 but comes with slightly lower resolution.
