It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with dual SIM dual standby support.
It features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display and is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device has 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery which we can expect to last for a single day of mixed usage.
The device has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Comparing the Lava X3 with the InFocus Bingo 21 that was also launched today in India, the Bingo 21 with a slightly lower price tag offers few better specifications than the Lava X3. It also supports 4G LTE which is missing in the Lava X3 but comes with slightly lower resolution.
