Gionee Elife S6 with AMOLED Display & VoLTE Launched at Rs. 19,999
Gionee has officially launched the Gionee Elife S6 smartphone today in India. The device is priced at Rs. 19,999 and comes with high-end specifications. It was first introduced in the Chinese market as Gionee S6 in November last year. This is the second smartphone from the company to include a USB Type-C port while the Gionee S+ that was launched last year exclusively in India is the first device.
The device comes with a premium looking metal body and measures a thickness of just 6.99mm. It features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with HD resolution and is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the S6 comes powered by the 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor. The device includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 128GB.
It supports dual SIM dual standby with the help of hybrid SIM slot that can also accept a MicroSD card instead of the second SIM. Talking about the camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) that can focus in just 0.1 seconds. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera with gesture capture and wide angle lens.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top if it. The 3,150mAh battery is what keeps the device powered on and is rated to give 18.8 hours of talk time and lasts up to 342 hours on standby. It measures 151.9 x 74.6 x 6.9 mm and weighs around 148 grams. Connectivity options on this dual SIM device include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a Type-C USB port.
It will be available in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold color options. The device can be purchased exclusively through Flipkart.
