Lava X11, A88, A71 Smartphones with 4G LTE Launched in India

The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Lava has launched three new smartphones called Lava A88, Lava A71, and Lava X11. While out of the three devices, the Lava A71 is already available in the market. All these devices come with 4G LTE support that offers high internet speeds. These devices will be available across India through all the major offline and online stores.

Navin Chawla, COO of Lava International, said,

“Mobile internet penetration is rapidly increasing in India and with 4G services being rolled out the pace will increase further. Even in markets where 4G services have not yet been launched by the operators, consumers want to opt for 4G devices to stay future ready.”

Lava X11

With a price tag of Rs. 7999, the Lava X11 is higher priced device among the lot. It comes with polycarbonate body with a chrome finished frame around the device. The back cover comes with an OPPO Neo 5 like diamond design imprint. It has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage along with a MicroSD card slot. On the camera part, it has an 8MP rear facing camera with LED flash and autofocus. On the front, is the 5MP selfie camera along with an LED flash. The device supports dual SIM and offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE. It comes in the colors crystal blue, white and gold colour

Lava A88

The second device to be announced is the Lava A88 priced at Rs. 5,499. It is the most affordable 4G LTE smartphone ever launched by Lava. The device features a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display and includes just 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus and a 2MP front camera which also comes with an LED flash.

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. The device will be available on in Black and White colors. On the design front, both the A88 and X11 looks similar, but the A88 doesn’t come with diamond prints on the back. At the same of Rs. 5,499; the Phicomm Energy 670 and InFocus Bingo 21 seems to be better devices.

Lava A71

This is the only device that is available in the market, the availability of the other two devices is not known yet. It is priced at Rs. 6,499 and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and the company also mentioned to release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future. It comes with a 5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass protection.

It has 1GB of RAM and includes 8GB of expandable storage. There is a 2,500mAh battery that gives by max a day of usage. The device has a 5MP and 2MP sensors on rear and front respectively. As seen with the other two devices, the front camera on this device is also accompanied by an LED flash. It comes with 12 Indian regional language support and is available in Blue, Black, and Gold color variants.
