KFC and Huawei join hands to Launch a Limited Edition Smartphone in China
Well, you would believe it or not, but KFC and the smartphone maker Huawei has joined hands to launch a limited edition smartphone. This partnership has led both of them launching the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus in Red color which is also engraved with Colonel Sanders on the back side. The device is made on the occasion of 30 years since KFC opened its first restaurant in Beijing, China along with 30 years since the establishment of Huawei also.
This device will be sold for a price of CNY1,099 (approx $160), and only 5000 units of this KFC phone will be made. If you want to grab one of these, then you have to hurry up. Coming to the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus, it is also called as Huawei Y7 Prime will sport a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU.
The onboard memory on the handset is 32GB which can be extended further via microSD card slot. On the camera front, there is a 12MP autofocus primary camera with LED flash on the rear and is accompanied with an 8MP fixed focus camera on the front for selfies and video calls. There is a 4000mAh battery on the back to power the device and the device is a dual SIM variant where the second slot is a hybrid slot.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device measures 153.6 mm × 76.4 mm × 8.35 mm and also has other sensors for automation of the device. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear to enhance the security levels.
