Earlier this year, OPPO came up with a new sub-brand called Realme brand to launch budget smartphones. Later, Xiaomi introduced POCO (a.k.a POCOPHONE) to sell high-end devices outside of China. Interestingly, both these new brands debuted the smartphone market by launching first in India. Today, another Chinese OEM iVOOMi has announced a new sub-brand called Innelo in India.
The company is also focusing on the Indian market with this new sub-brand. The first smartphone under this new brand will be called Innelo 1. It will be coming with a notch display and will be sold exclusively on Amazon India. The service for the Innelo smartphones will be provided by iVOOMi service centers across the country. Before this announcement, the company has been selling accessories under the Innelo branding.
iVOOMi is expected to launch the Ineelo 1 with a very aggressive price tag. While there is no official information about the Innelo 1, we expect the device to come with stock Android UI. Earlier today, Honor launched the Honor 7S smartphone with 18:9 display for Rs 6,999. Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi 6A entry-level smartphone in India tomorrow.
