iVoomi Me 2 is a new entry level device from the Chinese smartphone maker iVoomi that has been launched for Rs. 3,999 in India. The device will be exclusively available via Shopclues from today in Champagne Gold and Black color variants. Recently we have also seen the company releasing the devices like iVoomi Me 4 and iVoomi Me 5 smartphones for Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 4,499 respectively.
Coming to the specifications of the handset, the device will be sporting a 4.5-inch FWVGA touchscreen display giving a pixel density of 218ppi. Under the hood, there is an unknown quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The handset will be running on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and also comes pre-loaded with 22 regional language support.
The onboard storage of the device is limited to 16GB which can be extended further via microSD card slot. There is a 2000mAh battery on the rear to power the handset and supports 4G VoLTE connectivity. There are other connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS. There are also basic sensors like Proximity, Gyroscope, Compass and few other that are required for the automation of the handset.
The CEO of iVoomi Mobiles – Ashwin Bhandari also addressed that India is an important market and there are trying to propagate smartphone in the mi-level segment by introducing a new series called Me. He also said that they have been investing their efforts to understand the customer behavior in the country and launched this new device to ensure the customer witness best technology and user experience.
On the rear side of the device, we can see an 8MP main sensor with LED flash which will be accompanied with a 5MP selfie camera.
