After the wait, the Galaxy Note 8 has become official now and the South Korean giant has not forgotten the woes that were caused with its predecessor. To compensate for it Samsung is providing a discount up to $425 if you are going to trade your current phone. This deal will be available via Samsung online store in the U.S. Currently the Note 8 is retailing at $930 to $960 depending on the place of purchase.

The Galaxy Note 8 came with a near-bezeless screen and also a dual rear camera setup to back it up. This flagship Note device came with a huge 6.3-inch QHD super AMOLED infinity display giving a pixel density of 522ppi. This deal becomes affordable for who have been affected by the pocket bomb (Note 7) and it will be interesting to see how many still prefer to grab the current Note 8.

It will be a nice gesture from the company towards its fans and hope they won’t be facing any kind of battery issues again. Well, the new handset will come powered with Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU for the U.S and Korean market while the Exynos 9 Chipset will be used for the rest of the markets.

There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device and also comes with Iris sensor and a pressure sensor. The handset is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance while it sports 12MP Dual pixel rear camera with LED flash and 12MP camera with telephoto lens. There is also an 8MP camera for selfies with f/1.7 aperture size.

There is also a 3300mAh battery that supports fast charging and also supports wired and wireless charge. We are going to be certain that Samsung is not going to make faulty batteries this time around. The device will go for a pre-order in the U.S starting 24th of August and will ship from 15th September. Comment in the section below and stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more.
