Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) & Galaxy A7 (2018) Receives Wi-Fi Certification

From the past couple of months, there are several leaks about the 2018 Galaxy A smartphones. Now, the Galaxy A5 (2018) & Galaxy A7 (2018) with the model numbers SM-A530F and SM-A730F have received the Wi-Fi certification. Samsung is rumored to unveil the new Galaxy A smartphones in early 2018. However, we might also see them by the end of this year. The devices will be featuring Infinity Display with Full HD+ resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the 2018 Galaxy A devices will come powered by the 10nm Exynos 7885 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G71 GPU.

Nokia 2 Smartphone Goes on Sale in the U.S for $99

Back in October, Nokia unveiled the Nokia 2 smartphone at an event held in Delhi, India. Till date, the company hasn’t announced the Indian pricing or the local availability details. However, the Nokia 2 is now made available for pre-order in the U.S for $99. The device packs entry-level specifications and is powered by Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor. It got a massive 4,100mAh battery that should easily last for more than a day-long usage.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A Gets Latest MIUI 9 Global Beta Update

The Redmi 4A is the most affordable Xiaomi smartphone currently available in the market. Unlike the Redmi 4, the Redmi 4A comes with a polycarbonate body and misses the fingerprint sensor. Today, the company released the MIUI 9 Global Beta (7.11.16) ROM. It is based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and includes the October security patch update. As of now, there is no information about the availability of the MIUI 9 Stable ROM.

Samsung Rolls Out Android Nougat Update for Galaxy C7

Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones exclusively for the Chinese market. The company has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy C7 smartphone. Though there is no exact information, this new update is said to bring the latest Android security patch update. It also brings the new Samsung Experience UI, which was first introduced with the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. Now in 2017, Samsung launched the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro as the successors to last years Galaxy C devices.

Apple iPhone X Now Available on Airtel Online Store

Earlier this year, Airtel launched its online store by selling Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with special plans. Now, the iPhone X is listed on its store and the Airtel postpaid users can purchase it without any restrictions. The users have to pay the full amount and are free to use any network in the future. The iPhone X with 64GB and 256GB of internal storage is priced at Rs. 89,000 and Rs. 1,02,000 respectively. The delivery of the smartphone purchased from its online store is only limited to 21 Indian cities.

Apple HomePod Shipping Date Postponed to Early 2018

At the WWDC 2017, Apple announced its first-ever smart speaker called HomePod with built-in Siri. It is priced at $349 and was mentioned to start shipping from December in the U.S, U.K, and Australia. Now, the company postponed the shipping date to early 2018. Apple hasn’t revealed any details about postponing the shipping date. The HomePod is the Apple’s alternative to Amazon’s Echo and Google Home smart speakers. It includes Siri and comes powered by the Apple A8 chip.
