Paytm Payments Bank Rolls Out Paytm FASTag Across India
After Government of India made mandatory of using FASTag on every new vehicle sold from December 1st, Paytm Payments Bank today rolled out the “Paytm FASTag” across India. The RFID FASTag will be connected to the registered Paytm account for making instant automatic deductions at the toll gates. With the Paytm FASTag, the cars can pass through 380 toll plazas covering 55,000 km across India. The company is also offering 7.5% cashback on every toll payments.
Chrome for Android to Soon Get HDR Video Support
The HDR video content offers better color accuracy and contrast compared to the non-HDR content. In 2017, we have already seen smartphone display supporting HDR playback and the apps like Youtube and Netflix also started offering HDR content. Now, Chrome for Android is said to get the HDR playback support in the future updates. As of now, the HDR playback is supported only by a few flagship smartphones like Galaxy Note, LG V30, Sony Xperia XZ1, and iPhone X.
Motorola to Release Star Wars Moto Mod for Moto Z Devices in China
In the past, we have seen a few interesting Moto Mods from Motorola like the one featuring Amazon’s Alexa, 360-degree camera, Pico projector, and many more. Now, the company is releasing a new Star Wars-themed style Mod exclusively in China. While the OnePlus is launching a OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone in India, Motorola is offering a Star Wars Moto Mod in China in honor of Star Wars: The Last Jedi film release.
Asus Zenfone 3 Might Soon Get the Android Oreo Update
Asus has already confirmed to release the Android Oreo update for the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4 smartphones. However, there is no specific timeline mentioned for these updates. The newly leaked screenshots hint the Zenfone 3 might soon get the ZenUI 4.0 update based on Android 8.0 Oreo. We can expect the official rollout of the Oreo update from the company side only in 2018.
Airtel Now Offers Unlimited Calls and 1GB Data Per Day For Just Rs. 199
A few back, we have seen the Rs. 198 monthly plan from Airtel, where it offers 1GB 4G data per day without any other benefits. Now, the company plan announced a new Rs. 199 plan for selected markets and offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 1000 SMS and 1GB data per day for 28 days. It is currently available only in Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Karnataka circles.
