Intex Aqua S7 with 5-inch HD Display & 3GB RAM Launched in India for Rs 9499

Intex, the Indian mobile manufacturer, has launched their new device, which is being touted as the flagship product of the company. The new Aqua S7 is the latest offering from a company that comes with a sturdy and stylish design aesthetics. It was announced today at a press event held in New Delhi.

The Aqua S7 comes with a 2.5D curved display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The company is touting toughness as the display is protected by a Dragontrail Glass. Coming to the specification of the chipset, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 processor, which is a Quad-core SoC, coupled with beastly 3GB of RAM.

There is a 16GB of internal storage on the device, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. It runs on latest stable Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS; the brand hasn’t stated whether it will come with a custom skin or not. But looking at company’s track record, we expect some UI changes as well as bloatware on the system.

Regarding the camera department, it has a 13-megapixel module on the rear side which is accompanied by a Dual LED Flash. The rear sensor has a 1.12-micron pixel size and an aperture number of f/2.2. There is a 5P lens setup for the rear module. While talking about the front-facing module, it has a 5-megapixel sensor. The camera app has features such as PIP mode, Panorama, Slow-Motion, Gesture Shot and Smile detection mode. Both rear and front can record videos up to 1080p.

Regarding the connectivity options, it has a 4G LTE as well as VoLTE (Voice over LTE) support, which offers faster download and upload speeds. You can use the JIO SIM card connection with this handset as it supports VoLTE. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and microUSB port.

The Aqua S7 sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear side, which is the form of a circle and have a golden finish to the borders. The back side of the device looks pretty stylish and premium. At Rs 9499, it is a premium offering from the company in the mid-range. The device would be available in three colours including Rose Gold, Dark Blue and Champaign.
