Intex Aqua Glam Female-Centric Smartphone Launched in Pink Color for Rs.7,590

Intex launched their maiden female centric smartphone called ‘Intex Aqua Glam‘ for Rs.7,590. The device will be available in Pink and Champagne colors along with Swarovski crystals studded all around the frame.

Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies, said, “Stylish design and valiant features always go hand in hand at Intex. With the specially designed Aqua Glam, we are targeting the urban woman of today and leveraging the opportunity to empower her with a device that is handy and its practical features help strike a work-life balance.”

The device comes with a 4.7-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display and powered by a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.

Coming to the camera, it has an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and another 8MP front-facing camera for better selfies. The camera app on the device comes with lot many features like beauty mode, panorama, gesture capture, smile shot, voice capture, and anti-shake feature.

It has a battery of 1,850mAh capacity that delivers upto 6.5 hours of talk time and lasts up to 180 hours on standby. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

There is no 4G LTE on this device but offers other options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The device measures 139.3 x 69 x 7.4 mm and weighs 116.2 grams. The company also included few apps like Preksha Meditation, MakeUp App, Sanjeev Kapoor’s Recipes, and Sashakt women’s safety app.

Recently the company launched a 4G equipped entry-level smartphone called ‘Intex Aqua Turbo‘ for Rs.7,444. The device has a 3,000mAh battery that is rarely seen on any entry-level smartphone. It runs on a quad-core process and has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Talking about the Aqua Glam, the Pink color variant is priced at Rs.7,690 while the Champagne color variant costs Rs.7,590. As per the company, the device will be made available across India via offline and online stores.
