Google released the final build of the latest Android version which is 7.0 Nougat for all those who were waiting for this one for a ling time. Well, it’s not officially out yet for all the devices. It is only released for the Nexus devices and the Pixel C tablet. But it is expected that other devices will also get the update somewhere between November 2016 and January 2017. You can check out the complete list of devices which will be getting the Nougat update in future.
Meanwhile, if you want to give it a shot on your nexus devices or the Pixel C tablet then you can do so. Just follow these simple steps given below and you will be able to run the latest build on your nexus device. The steps are as follows –
- Firstly, you can wait for the OTA update for your device, which Google will be pushing in coming weeks or days depending on your region of existence etc. So if you wish you wait, then you do so. Once the update is rolled out, you will receive a notification and all you have to do is just tap install and you are good to go.
- Alternatively, if you don’t have to wait and want to have a taste of the fresh Nougat right away then you do that as well. All you have to do is sign up for the Android Beta Program. You have to use the Google account that is linked to your Nexus device and just choose the device. Once done, you will see an update soon. Google usually pushes the latest version available and in this case, it is none other than our 7.0 Nougat final build. So go ahead and install it right away and you are good to go here.
