Samsung has shifted SIM card tray on Note 5 to the top edge on device while it was previously present inside the back panel which was earlier removable. With unibody design company had to shift the place of its SIM slot, as well as compromise on the microSD card slot.

Insertion of SIM on your device is the first thing that you do when you purchase a new device. If you have purchased you Note 5 then here are the steps that you can follow to Insert your SIM card on your device.

  • Step 1: First thing first, you have to switch OFF your device.
  • Step 2: You will be getting SIM ejector pin in the retail packaging unit. Insert the pointed end of that pin in the SIM card port.
  • Step 3: The SIM card tray will pop out. Now remove the tray completely from the device.
  • Step 4: The device supports nano SIM card. So, if you already have a nano-SIM card then place it on the tray as per the marked direction such that the metallic contacts must be facing down.
  • Step 5: Now, place the tray carefully on the port and switch on your device.
