InFocus Launches Epic 1 Smartphone with 5.5″ FHD Display & 3GB RAM in India

Recently, the US-based handset maker InFocus had launched a new smartphone in the Bingo series called as InFocus Bingo 50+ and priced at 7,999 INR. Now, this brand has launched a new smartphone named as InFocus Epic 1. The device is running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with InLife UI 2.0 with preinstalled applications such as EZ Launcher, Music, and Gallery that is listed on their official page with all specifications. The Infocus Epic 1 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch on-cell Display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution that offers a 401 PPI of pixel density and 16M colors. On the Facebook page, it shows teaser “Oh My God !! It’s A 10” it means that it is a deca-core processor which has Mediatek MT6797M chipset paired with Mali T880 MP4 Graphics, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which will further be expanded via microSD card slot up to 128GB.

It can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter with F2.0 large aperture and dual Flash Natural tone for capturing excellent selfie photos and video calling. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE network with the speeds of 150Mbps of downlink and 50Mbps of uplink.

The other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Wi-Fi Direct and USB Type-C port. The main USP of the device is 3000 mAh capacity battery with 1A Charger that is rated to produce 10 hours of talk time, 30 hours of play music, 5 hours of play video and lasts up to 500 hours of standby time. It has head max SAR at 1g 0.710 W/KG and body max SAR at 1g 0.846 W/KG. Sensors on the device include Light Sensor, G-Sensor and a Proximity Sensor which we are awaiting more details on the same. It is measured by a 153 x 76 mm dimensions and unknown weight. The device is launched in India at a price of Rs. 12999 according to the information shared with us by our source. The company had earlier launched InFocus Bingo 50+ smartphone with 5.5-inch HD display, an octa-core processor, MediaTek MT6753 chipset, 4G LTE, 16GB ROM, 3GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and 2600mAh battery.
