Huawei to Introduce Dual-View Video Mode for Using Two Rear Cameras Simultaneously

Huawei will be unveiling the new Huawei P30 & P30 Pro smartphones on March 26th in Paris. However, the official listing (via) on the companies website already revealed the design and specifications of both the devices. While the Huawei P30 Pro will be coming with quad camera setup on the rear, the Huawei P30 settles with triple rear cameras. Unlike the Huawei P30, the Pro variant comes with a periscope style telephoto camera and a ToF 3D camera.
The Huawei P30 Pro will also offer up to 10x Hybrid Zoom with no loss in quality. On the other hand, the Huawei P30 without periscope style camera will come with just 5x Hybrid Zoom. Huawei will be introducing Super high ISO feature for capturing beautiful photos even in extremely dark conditions. While most of the low-light camera technology on other devices are only limited for photos, the Huawei P30 devices will support for photos and videos.
Also, the company is newly adding Dual-View Video feature where any two cameras from the quad rear camera setup will work at the same time. For example, the user can record a video in ultra-wide-angle mode and can also watch the subject in the frame closer with the telephotos lens. The listing mentioned also mentioned the Dual-View Video feature will not be available out of the box. It will be added later through an OTA update.
Both the device will be coming with waterdrop notch displays with 32MP selfie camera on the front. While the P30 Pro comes with the dual curved display, the Huawei P30 will sport a flat display with 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood, the device will come powered by 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core processor coupled with dual NPU and Mali G76 GPU.
