Last week, Huawei launched three new smartphones under the Nova 5 series in China. While the Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro came with high-end specifications, the Nova 5i is packed with the mid-range specifications. As rumors suggested, the company is also working on a fourth smartphone called Huawei Nova 5i Pro. The schematic of the device shared by Evan Blass revealed the Nova 5i to sport punch-hole display on the front.

Even the other three Nova 5 smartphones also came with the same punch-hole display. On the rear, the device comes with the quad camera setup. While the Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro came with a vertical camera module, the Nova 5i Pro will come with Mate 20 Pro-like square-shaped camera module. As seen on the Nova 5i, the Nova 5i Pro also comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Both the USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack are placed on the bottom edge.

While the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, the SIM card slot is on the left edge. As of now, there is no information about the specifications of the Huawei Nova 5i Pro smartphone. However, we expect it to come with the in-house Kirin chipset and will be running on Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9.1 out of the box. The Huawei Nova 5i came with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2310 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by the older Kirin 710 octa-core chipset.

The quad camera set up on the Nova 5i features a 24MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with an 8MP super-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and lacks fast charging support. Talking about the Nova 5i Pro, we need to wait for a few more weeks to get detailed specifications of the device. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the Nova 5i Pro smartphone.
