Huawei will be unveiling the all-new Mate 20 smartphones on October 16th in London. Today, the company also confirmed to launch the Mate 20X as the third device in the all-new Mate 20 series. As of now, there is no confirmation about the special edition Mate 20 in partnership with Porsche Design. Talking about the Mate 20X, the teaser video hints the device to sport a larger display and a larger battery for a better gaming experience.

As per the leaks, the device will be coming with a huge 7.21-inch OLED display on the front. Considering its a gaming-centric smartphone, the company should also introduce heat pipe for thermal throttling. Under the hood, the device will come powered by the in-house HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor built on 7nm FinFET process. The device will be offering up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Just like the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, the Mate 20X might also come with the triple camera setup on the rear. While the launch event is scheduled for October 16th, we expect to leaks about this device ahead of the launch.
