Huawei today launched its latest flagship smartphone Mate 20 Pro in India. It is also the first Mate 20 product to make its debut in the Indian market. Earlier this year, the company also launched the Huawei P20 Pro smartphone in India. The Mate 20 Pro will be offering flagship specifications along with the all-new HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor built on 7nm FinFET process.
The device comes with an Aluminum body and sports 3D curved glass on the front and rear. It sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset coupled with new Cortex-A76 cores and 10-core Mali G76 GPU. The device comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage respectively.
While the device supports expandable storage, it actually comes with the custom NM card (Nano MicroSD card) support. Talking about the cameras, the Mate 20 Pro sports 40MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 20MP ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The device comes with several features AIS (Huawei AI Image Stabilization), auto scene detection, super macro mode, super HDR and more.
For selfies, there is a 24MP single front camera with f/2.0 aperture and supports 3D depth sensing for capturing 3D photos. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the in-house EMUI 9.0 out of the box. The Mate 20 Pro comes with in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock using the IR camera. It is backed by a 4,200mAh non-removable battery and supports 40W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging.
It is also IP68 certified which makes the device water and dust resistant. The device measures 157.8 x 72.3 x 8.6 mm and weighs 189 grams. In India, the device comes only in Emerald Green and Twilight colors with beautiful looking gradient finish. Coming to the pricing, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro with amazing features cost Rs 69,990 and will be sold exclusively via Amazon India.
