The Indian smartphone market scenario had been completely changed since last year when the companies like Asus, Motorola, and Xiaomi announced affordable smartphone with a great set of hardware and software. Keeping that competition awake, the Huawei has announced two new devices today – the Honor Bee and Honor 4C. While the first one is the cheapest Honor device, the latter is a power packed mid-ranger, priced at Rs 8999.
The Honor 4C features a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by company’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 620 chipset, which happen to be an Octa- core processor. It is then supported by a 2GB of RAM. Talking about the internal storage the device packs 8GB of internal storage with a room to expand the storage via microSD card.
With Honor 4C, company is entering into a smartphone that is already filled with dozens of mid-rangers that are worthy for users. The device runs on company’s custom-built Emotion 3.0 UI on top of Android 4.42 Kitkat OS. In the camera department, you’ll see the device sporting a 13MP rear camera with LED flash that has become a standard among the mid-range of smartphones. While the front-facing camera is of 5MP, which should be sufficient enough for selfies lovers out there.
The device support dual-SIM as well as LTE connectivity. All this is powered by a 2550mAh battery, which is a not on par with mid-range like Lenovo A7000 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. But considering that it sports a 5-inch HD display, this much battery should be good enough to last a day on an average usage. The more would be known only when we get to use the device as a daily driver.
Talking about the availability, the device would be exclusively available on their e-commerce partner, Flipkart. The 4C is going to be available for pre-order starting 6PM today. You can head over to the Flipkart website if you’re planning to purchase it.
