Google will be launching its two new Pixel smartphones for this year at an event which is scheduled for October 4th. These smartphones will be called the Pixel & the Pixel XL. But now according to new reports, it appears that the company is also working on a Pixel tablet and apparently Huawei is working on it. Well, this is quite interesting as we have been seeing that the tablet market is not really doing well lately.
This rumour comes from a reliable source. Although we can’t give any confirmation on this, we do think that the launch is imminent. As far as the details of the device go, we don’t have much info. The only thing known at this point is that the tablet will come with a 7-inch display, and it will pack 4GB of RAM. Unfortunately, this is all the info that we have right now about this alleged new tablet.
Google’s Huawei-built 7-inch tablet, with 4GB RAM, on track for release before the end of the year.

There are a lot of speculation surrounding the name of this device already. With the company ditching the Nexus branding and renaming their Nexus smartphones as Pixel, it is expected that this device will also join the smartphones in Pixel series. It is expected that Google might be trying to bring all it’s devices under a common name. They already launched a tablet called Pixel C previously. However, all these are just speculations, and we don’t have any confirmation on any of this info.
As of now, it looks like we just have to wait and see what the company will have here to offer us. Considering the fact that Tablets are not really doing well in the market lately, we just have to wait and see how this one works for them. Stay tuned for more info on this as we will update the story once we have more details.
