A new device from HTC has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website with the model number 2Q7A100. Although we do not have the actual name of the upcoming handset, we do have key specs of this phone. The device is powered with Snapdragon 710 SoC which will be coupled with 6GB of RAM. We are not sure if other RAM option will be available which we should know when the device is announced officially.

Out of the box, it will be coming with the latest Android 9 Pie operating system and should be getting further updates also when available. This SoC used on this device will be clocked at 1.71 GHz and will also be coming with 8 cores. The handset might feature a dual camera set up on the rear along with a selfie camera. We should see if HTC opts for a notched display or will go with a full view display coming up with some mechanical selfie camera.

This unannounced smartphone from the Taiwanese company has been listed on 11th of April and considering this the handset could be announced soon. HTC has been on a low in recent the recent time and it also didn’t have a great time in the smartphone shipments. The company would be hoping to turn the tides with this upcoming device but with heavy competition in the mid-range market, it could be a tough going unless it provides decent specs with aggressive pricing.

Since the device is in the early days we might see more leaks coming over the next few weeks and recently HTC also confirmed that it is going to roll out Android 9 Pie update to its HTC U12+, HTC U11+, and HTC U11 later this quarter. Well, do you own any of the devices from HTC? Did you even use an HTC smartphone?
