New HTC One X9u Spotted at Certification Site, One X9 Reports Claim Lower Specs
Update: While we are all talking about the HTC One X9, the company’s official forums had confirmed a new device named One X9u. There are no details about the device, but we expect it to be a variant of One X9. The device had recently passed through China’s 3C certification authority suggesting the 4G LTE connectivity on this new device.
The HTC One X9 with the rumored specifications looks to be the X factor in the HTC‘s One lineup of devices. But according to the trusted leakster with the twitter handle @LlabTooFeR confirmed the device to be placed in the mid-range segment. It is also expected to be launched in Q1 2016 and will be priced lower than One A9 that is now retailing at $499.
While apart from the launch period there is no much information known about the device, but the famous leakster Even Blass tweeted about the specification of the devices. As per the tweet, the 5.5-inch display will come with Full HD resolution instead of the rumored Quad HD resolution. It will be powered by an unknown MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
We also expect the device to sport a MicroSD card slot since there the internal storage is limited to just 16GB. Talking about the camera, it has a 13MP OIS rear camera and a 4MP Ultrapixel camera. These are the same set of sensor’s that we earlier have seen on One A9. It is powered by the 3,000mAh battery. With all these specifications, the device will compete against the likes of Desire 800 series devices.
HTC’s next flagship One M10 will be launched 2-3 months after launching the One X9. As of now there are no more details about the upcoming flagship. While the earlier mentioned specifications may not come true, but we hope that the poster image of the One X9 is to be an original one that suggests all new design of the device. Stay tuned for more details…!
