There are many rumors about the upcoming ‘HTC One X9‘ in the last few weeks. While the device was leaked to sport flagship specifications, Evleaks later confirmed the device to comes with mid-range specifications. Now the device was listed on TENAA where we can get the first look of the device along with the specifications.
It has a metal body with Nexus 6P like camera strip featuring the rear camera and dual tone LED flash. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and will be powered by MediaTek octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device also includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
The listing shows the device to run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, and we can expect the Marshmallow update to be released soon since the recently launched HTC One A9 came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Talking about the camera, it comes with a 13MP rear camera with OIS and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The BoomSound speakers can be found on the front, and the One A9 like textured power button can be easily differentiated from the volume rockers.
The device will be launched in early 2016, a few months before the launch of HTC One M10, company’s upcoming flagship. The measures 153.2 x 75.9 x 7.99 mm and weighs 174 grams. It device comes with dual SIM dual standby and supports 4G LTE. It is expected to be available in the color Silver Grey, but the poster image suggests the device to come in Black color also.
