HTC Butterfly 3 with 2K Display and Snapdragon 810 Launched Internationally
The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has announced the ‘J Butterfly‘ for the international markets as ‘Butterfly 3.’ The device will be available in Taiwan starting from November 1st for a price of NT$19900 (approx US$ 600). As earlier said the device was earlier launched in May 2015 in Japan as J Butterfly.
It comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) LCD3 display and is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card support for storage expansion.
The USP of the J Butterfly is its camera sensors, it has a 20.2MP rear camera along with additional sensor for capturing depth-of-field effect and to focus the image after capturing the image. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera that is more than enough for capturing selfies and answering video calls.
It also comes with IPX5 and IPX7 certifications making the device water and dust resistant. There is a battery of 2,700mAh capacity that also supports Qualcomm’s quick charge 2.0.
