HTC 10 Evo Smartphone Launched in India without Headphone Jack priced at INR 48,990



HTC 10 Evo was announced in India last year in November month with no details of availability. The smartphone was announced along with HTC Desire 10 Pro. HTC 10 Evo is already available in Various countries around the world. Now HTC made this available to buy in India as well with a price tag of INR 48,990. It is global variant of HTC Bolt smartphone and available to buy from company’s website. HTC 10 Evo is the company’s first metal smartphone with IP57 certification. It means HTC 10 Evo is dust proof.

As Apple iPhone 7, there is no 3.5mm audio jack in this smartphone. It comes with USB Type-C on board. The company is also giving a USB Type-C dongle out of the box. The smartphone comes with BoomSound Adaptive Audio. There is 5.5-inch qHD display on the front with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The resolution of the screen is 1440 x 2560 pixels. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor.

It has 3GB RAM on board along with 32GB internal storage. There is memory card slot as well with up to 2TB support. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system based Sense UI. It comes with 3200mAh battery along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

On the camera front, it has a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The rear camera can record up to 4K videos and comes with PDAF (Phase detection autofocus). HTC 10 Evo comes with split screen view, unlimited photo storage of Google photos. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth v4.1, USB Type-C.

Recently, according to a report VR device HTC Vive of the company, took the third position after Samsung Gear VR and Sony PSVR. HTC sold 4,20,000 units of HTC Vive worldwide. While Samsung lead the market of Virtual Reality and sold 4.51 million units of Gear VR worldwide.
