Huawei’s upcoming phone which is codenamed as Princeton will be coming with the support for 3D photography as per a report. Furthermore, it is also stated that the device will be announced late this month and will go on sale in the next few weeks. The smartphone with codename Princeton belongs to PCT-AL10 and PCT-TL10 model number which belongs to Honor V20 smartphone. The Honor View 20 with the model number PCT-L29 will be announced in January but nothing much about is known as of now.
There are other reports that the sensors of the Princeton phone are developed by Sony Corporation. Well, Honor V20 might be coming with 3D camera feature for accurately creating 3D models of all the objects, animals or even animals in real-time and these can also be shared with others. These 3D models can also be used with AR applications and in doing so Huawei aims to be one among the few to provide quality features.
Moreover, it is expected that the device could come with triple camera sensors and while the third one could be a Time of Flight (ToF) 3D ensign camera which will work by emitting infrared light on to the surface on an object which bounces back to the sensor. This also means that the sensors also measure depth by determining the differences in energy levels which would make it easier to create 3D maps of the subject. We haven’t heard anything from officially from Sony nor Huawei as of now.
Furthermore, the Honor V20 is expected to come with an in-screen camera hole design along with a 2310 x 1080 pixels display resolutions. It will come out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system and will be powered with a Kirin 980 chipset. It is said to be going official on 27th of December in China for 2,799 Yuan but not his is officially confirmed yet.
