Honor Note 10 – Everything You Need To Know

Back in August 2016, Honor launched the Honor 8 Note smartphone with AMOLED display in China. It then came up with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with QuadHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and is powered by Kirin 955 octa-core processor. Though the company has launched Honor 9 smartphone in 2017, there is no successor to the Honor 8 Note smartphone.

Honor Note 10 with 6.9″ AMOLED Display Rumored to Launch Soon

Now, the latest leaks suggest the company to revive the Note series by launching the Honor Note 10 smartphone. It might come with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display. As of now, there is no confirmation whether the device will be offering 18:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio. Look at all the recently launched smartphones, we expect the Honor Note 10 to also sport dual camera setup on the rear.

Let’s wait and see, if the company uses the flagship Kirin 710 chipset or any mid-range Snapdragon chipset. Xiaomi will soon launch the Mi Max 3 as the successor to Mi Max 2 smartphone. The TENAA listing of the device has already revealed the MI Max 3 to sport a 6.9-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. While there is no information about the Honor Note 10, the company is also rumored to launch the Honor 9i as Honor 9X in India.

The two-year old Honor Note 8 came with 4GB of RAM and was made available in different storage options. It then offered a single 13MP camera on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. Honor Note 10 Teased by the Company, Might Come Powered by Kirin 970 SoC

Last month, there are leaks about the upcoming Honor Note 10 smartphone. Today, the company has officially confirmed to soon launch the device in China. As of now, there is no confirmation of the launch date of the device. The Honor Note 10 will be the successor to two-year old Honor Note 8. With the note series, the company will be offering larger display and battery. Based on the leaks, the upcoming Honor Note 10 will be offering 6.9-inch AMOLED display.

Instead of 18:9 aspect ratio, we hope the company opts for 19:9 aspect ratio which makes the 6.9-inch display fit into a smaller body. We also expect the device to pack dual cameras on the rear. As the device comes with AI-branding, it might come powered by the Kirin 970 octa-core processor. The recently launched Honor Play priced at 1999 Yuan is also powered by Kirin 970 chipset.

Honor Note 10 Specifications Leaked

Honor has recently confirmed to soon launch the Honor Note 10. As of now, the company hasn’t yet confirmed the launch date of this new smartphone. However, the device will be competing with the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 smartphone which is scheduled to launch on July 19th. Talking about the Honor Note 10, the key specifications of the device are now leaked online. As mentioned above, the Note 10 will be coming with a large 6.9-inch display with Quad HD resolution.

Unlike the recently launched Honor and Huawei smartphones, there is no notch on the Note 10 smartphone. Under the hood, the device will come powered by the flagship Kirin 970 octa-core processor that comes coupled with a dedicated NPU for AI processing. The leaks suggest the device to pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, we also expect the device to come in a few more storage options. It will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1.

The Note 10 should also support the recently announced GPU Turbo technology for better graphics performance and low power consumption. In terms optics, the device sports 16MP + 24MP dual cameras on the rear and a single 24MP camera on the front. These are the same set of cameras which will be offered with the upcoming Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones. With a large 6.9-inch screen size, the device will be housing a huge a 6000mAh battery.

With such a large battery capacity, the company is also including 5V/4.5A (22.5W) Huawei Super Charge technology. The device will be sporting thin bezels on the top and bottom. As it comes with a 6.9-inch display, the screen-to-body ratio should be higher than other 18:9 smartphones.

Latest: Honor Note 10 Confirmed to Launch on July 31st in China

Honor has been teasing about the launch of Honor Note 10 smartphone from last few weeks. Earlier today, Honor has confirmed to launch the Note 10 smartphone on July 31st in Beijing, China. Back in June, Honor introduced the all-new GPU Turbo technology that improves the GPU performance on Kirin processors. While its too early, the new rumors suggest the company to announce the GPU Turbo 2.0 technology alongside the upcoming Honor Note 10 smartphone.

From the teaser image, we can also confirm the device to come with gradient finish on the rear. It might come powered by the flagship Kirin 970 chipset and along with GPU Turbo technology should offer best in class gaming performance.
