Honor MediaPad T5 Unveiled with 10.1” Display, GPU Turbo & Face unlock

Honor, which is the sub-brand of Huawei, has announced another device called as MediaPad T5 at a launch event in China. The tablet was unveiled along with Honor 8C smartphone and also is a mid-range tablet which comes with a premium design and quality as it comes with an all-metal CNC body. Moreover, it measures 7.8 mm and weighs 460 grams and will come have a fingerprint sensor under the home button which is placed on the front. The device is priced at RMB 1,399 (approx Rs. 15,000) for the lower 3GB variant while the 4GB variant is priced at RMB 1,799 (approx Rs. 19,200).
Coming to the specs sheet of this tablet, MediaPad T5 will be coming with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1920 x 1,200 pixels resolutions and will also come with eye comfort mode along with the Blue light filter. To power the device there is an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC blog with the support of Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology. The handset will be available in 3GB + 32GB storage variant along with 4GB + 64GB option. It will also be coming with all the sensors that are required for the automation of the device.
The other details like the camera and the battery have not been mentioned which would be revealed soon by the company officially. Moreover, the slate comes with dual stereo speakers with Huawei Histen 5.0 sound technology out of the box with Harman Kardon professional tuning to improve the sound quality.
