Honor Holly 3 with 5.5″ HD Display & 3,100 mAh battery launched for 9,999 INR

Along with the Honor 8 and the Honor 8 smart, the company also launched the Holy 3 smartphone. This is the new entry-level smartphone from the company and it is a successor to the existing holly smartphone and will join them in the series. This smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch display one the front which is an HD display. This smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 617 processor and it packs 2GB of RAM as well. It comes with 16GB internal storage out of the box.

If the 16GB internal storage is bothering you, then you can expand it using a microSD card upto 128GB as well. In terms of the camera, we are looking at a 13-megapixel sensor at the back and an 8-megapixel front facing camera on the front. Both the cameras have a f/2.0 aperture. The device 4G LTE out of the box. Other connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Micro-USB v2.0, USB BT v4.0 with A2DP, EDR, BLE.

The company launched the honor holly previously and even the holly 2 Plus. The new honor holly 3 is a successor to the 2 Plus. Talking about the specs of the Honor Holly smartphone, it sports a 5″ display on the front with the same resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6582 which is a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. However, it packs only 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via microSD card upto 32GB. It only packs 2,000 mAh battery and it is currently retailing for about 7,000 INR.

And as mentioned earlier, the company launched the new honor 8 and the Honor 8 Smart. Both the devices are comparatively powerful and are priced accordingly. The honor 8 is priced at 29,999 INR and the Honor 8 Smart is priced at 19,999 INR. You can learn more about those devices here. Also, another important thing to note here is the fact that the Holly 3 is the first ‘Made In India’ smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker. The smartphone is priced very competitively and it costs only 9,999 INR and will be available to purchase from Flipkart, Amazon India, and the Honor stores. The device comes in 3 different colors i.e. Balck, White, and Gold.

    A very good device launched by honor under 10k price segment with mid range specification & performance as well.
    but their is lot of competition under 10k price segment as well like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which is an highest sales smartphone of xiaomi in india till date with better specification & performance.

  • Seems good! I hope the camera is good and it has a good fingerprint sensor! 32GB internal storage instead of 16 would have been appealing. I prefer Huawei over Mi! 🙂
