Just yesterday, Honor has officially launched the Honor View 10 smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 29,999. Today, the company came up with a new fitness band that not just looks slick but also comes packed with the minimum required features on a tracker. We have been looking out for the most affordable fitness sensors that come with a decent display & a heart rate sensor giving you the data any normal person needs.
Here comes the Honor Band A2 that costs Rs. 2,499 in India. The band will go on sale in the next few days via online stores. The Honor Band A2 was first launched in China in May last year for 199 Yuan. This is an upgrade to their last years model with a 0.96-inch OLED touch display along with a strap that’s water resistant. The product will be coming in various patterns and colors & is Bluetooth-compatible.
Important features include the pedometer, sleep tracker, exercise tracker, and sedentary reminder. The band comes with IP67 water and dust certification and you can also get alerts if you have been sitting for a longer period to get active. The OLED display gives you alerts for phone calls & text messages and you can dismiss or mute them depending on the action you want to take.
Interestingly the predecessor i.e. A1 was launched at half the price of just $15 but then it had its own limitations especially the No Display. In India, Honor had launched the Honor Band Z1 that had the Smartwatch looks & it never saw the huge demand. The Honor Band A2 comes with App support for both Android & iOS while the users can download the apps from the respective app stores.
