Honor 9X Series to Launch on July 23 in China, Company Confirms

Honor is all set to unveil its new 9X series in China this month. The company had released a teaser confirming the launch in Xi’an on July 23. Going by the earlier reports, Honor is expected to launch its new Honor 9X smartphone alongside the Honor 9X Pro as well. The company and the vice president of Honor — Rong Yao had teased the new 9X series launch on Weibo claiming to be equipped with powerful hardware.
Earlier reports have suggested that the new Honor 9X would be coming with 6.5-6.7-inch screens and under the hood, the devices are said to be powered by Huawei’s latest HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC and Kirin 980 SoC for the 9X and the 9X Pro respectively.
As for the rumored camera specifications are concerned, the Honor 9X is expected to come with triple rear cameras featuring 24MP primary sensor along with a couple of sensors including 8MP+2MP, and on the front, the device is said to be featuring a 20MP selfie shooter as well.
On the other hand, the Honor 9X Pro is rumored to be featuring a 48MP primary rear camera alongside the 8MP super wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth-sensing camera and on the front, a 25MP selfie shooter that is expected to be beheld in the punch-hole display. And, lastly, the Honor 9X Pro is rumored to be kept alive by a 4000mAh battery.
If the rumors and these expected specifications are believed to be accurate, then we can certainly expect another flagship and mid-range series from Huawei-owned Honor by the end of this month. Meanwhile, the Honor 8X series sales are said to have reached up to 10million units, which is believed to be the fastest shipment count in the history of this Honor X series.
