Honor 8 with 12MP Dual Rear Cameras Listed on TENAA, to Launch on July11th

Honor has been teasing about the launch of its latest flagship smartphone Honor 8 in the month of July. There are few leaks suggesting the recently launched Honor V8 to launch as Honor 8 for international markets. But the TENAA listing of the device with the model number FRD-AL00 confirmed Honor 8 to be different from Honor V8. Just like the Honor V8 and Huawei P9, the Honor 8 also sports dual rear cameras.
It comes with a 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) while the Honor V8 features a large 5.7-inch display. Under the hood, the Honor 8 is powered by the Kirin 950/955 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It includes 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded additionally upto 128GB with provided MicroSD card slot. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the latest EMUI 4.1 overlaid.
Instead of the complete metal body as seen on Honor V8, the Honor 8 sports metallic frame with glass on either side of the device. On the back, it has 12MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and laser autofocus. For selfies, the Honor 8 packs an 8MP front facing camera. The circular fingerprint sensor can be spotted on the rear of the rear of the device. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The device is kept powered on by a 2,900mAh battery and also supports fast charging. It measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 and weighs 153 grams. Today, Honor confirmed to launch its upcoming Honor 8 on July 11th in China. Since the official launch is less than two weeks, we expect even more details before to the launch. Stay tuned for more updates!
