Honor 20 Pro Receives Google Certification, Could be launched soon

The Honor 20 Pro smartphone was announced last month but the launch of the device was on hold, now it looks like the smartphone will be launched soon. The Honor 20 Pro was planned to hit the market early June but since the Huawei issues, the company has not got the necessary certification from Google which has delayed the launch of the same. According to an Italian publication, the device has been now certified by Google and should be launching soon.
Although the exact date of the smartphone launch has not been mentioned as of now it could be launched mid-June. The brand has also sent emails saying an international launch will be happening soon. According to a report, Huawei is also monitoring the demand for the Honor 20 flagship device and the standard model is going to be on sale starting June 21st.
Talking about the Honor 20 and 20 Pro smartphones, they are powered by the companies own HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor built on 7nm FinFET node and the Honor 20 comes with a 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage, the Honor 20 Pro is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage. Both the devices will be coming with the support for enhanced GPU Turbo 3.0 for improved gaming performance.
Talking about the cameras, the devices will have the same 32MP main camera sensor on the front for selfies with f/2.0 aperture. On the rear, there is a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on the handset with 16MP super-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the other hand, the Honor 20 Pro has a quad camera setup with the same 48MP main camera and an 8MP telephoto sensor with OIS. It is also capable of 3x optical zoom and 5z hybrid zoom.
The handsets come out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with Magic UI 2.1 on top. Furthermore, there is a 3750 mAh battery on the Honor 20 while the Pro variant sports a 4000 mAh battery with the support for 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging technology which can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
