Honor 20 Lite With Kirin 710 SoC & Triple Rear Cameras Launched

Honor is geared up to launch its new Honor 20 series smartphones with an event scheduled on 21st, May. It is pretty evident that the company would be launching – the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro. Though the series is set to launch on 21st of this month, Honor had already unveiled its Honor 20i smartphone earlier last month. And, the company had made official yet another smartphone in its new 20 series – the Honor 20 Lite.
Usually, the Lite versions of a flagship smartphone come after the flagship phones are announced; however, Honor has quietly unveiled its Honor 20 Lite smartphone. The device comes with a 6.21-inch Full HD+ display that features a water drop notch to behold the selfie shooter. The Honor 20 Lite is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC, followed by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The storage is further expandable via micro SD for up to 512GB.
As for the cameras, the Honor 20 Lite comes with triple rear cameras setup comprising of a 24MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture as well. The rear cameras support super slow-motion video for upto 480fps and also come with AI-scene recognition support. On the front, the Honor 20 Lite features a 32MP selfie shooter within the notch. The selfie shooter also has an aperture of f/2.0 and also comes with AI Beautification as well.
The Honor 20 Lite ships with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box with EMUI 9.0 running on top of it. The device is fueled by a 3400mAh battery without any fast charge support and utilizes micro USB for charging. For authentication, the Honor 20 Lite comes with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also has facial recognition as well.
As for the pricing, the Honor 20 Lite is said to be on sale in the UK for 249 Euros (Rs 19,500 approx). The device will be featured in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color variants. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
