Google Stadia’s List of Games, Pricing and Availability Now Official

Back in March this year, Google has unveiled the company’s own cloud-based gaming service — Stadia. The gaming platform was announced at Game Developers Conference early this year. Not only the gaming platform but also its games studio called Stadia Games and Entertainment were also unveiled at the event, and also a Stadia gaming controller was launched by Google that can further connect to search giant’s data centers via Wi-Fi. During the announcement, Google had stated that this service would be initially launched in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. For those who are unaware, the games on Stadia platform are compatible to play on smartphones, laptops, computers, and TVs as well.

And, as promised Google has announced Stadia’s first collection of games and pricing of the service, which is now confirmed to launch in November this year. Users can now pre-order from Google’s store, and there’s a Stadia Founder’s Edition available, which has some benefits packed in. First off, Google Stadia will be coming in two models the — the Stadia Base and the Stadia Pro. The Stadia Base will be offering to game at 1080p resolution with frame rates of 60fps. Users can buy the games whenever necessary; however, additional free games are highly unlikely to be released regularly.

What’s interesting is the Stadia Pro, which will be coming this November. Priced at $9.99, users can have 4K resolution gaming at 60fps with 5.1 surround sound as well. Further, they can buy games whenever they wany similar to Base variant, in addition, free games are said to be regularly as well, starting with Destiny 2: The Collection. With Stadia Pro they are said to have exclusive discounts on select game purchases and further has access to a bundle of old PC and console games as well.

There’s another version introducing by Google as stated earlier — the Founder’s Editon with which users can enjoy three months of Stadia Pro service along with Chromecast Ultra, a limited-edition Night Blue Stadia Controller, a three-month buddy pass to add a partner and more. As for the pricing of Stadia FOunder’s Edition is concerned, it is now available for pre-order starting at $129.

List of a total of 31 games that are compatible with Google Stadia includes — Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Doom Eternal, Doom (2016), Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Destiny 2, Get Packed, Grid, Metro Exodus, Thumper, Farming Simulator 19, Baldur’s Gate III, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Football Manager, Samurai Shodown, Final Fantasy XV, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, NBA 2K, Borderlands 3, Gylt, Mortal Kombat 11, Darksiders Genesis, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Just Dance, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Trials Rising, The Crew.
