Google Maps for Android & iOS Gets Messaging Feature to Contact Businesses

Google never shies away in bringing out new features for its users and now the tech Giant has bought another feature for its Maps. Well, with this new feature, the users can message to a business from the maps directly which makes communication between the two parties easier. This feature will be available for both Android and iOS users via an update while the businesses have to download the new Google My Business app from the Play Store.
The update will be bringing a new message icon and also an inbox view for all the conversation with business and the same has been posted on a blog post by Google. The business or the shops which have Business Profile with Google will be seeing a new Message button which will appear on their listing also along with a shortcut for making a call. The Conversation can be started from the Messages section on the Maps app directly anytime and anywhere.
These chats are going to be happening between the consumers and the business accounts in a clan messaging interface. For this, the businesses have to enable the messages and the users can easily connect to them. With this, it will become easier for both the customers and users as they can save time as customers can make an order before they reach the store and it will be ready by the time they reach. The consumer can also find out if the product they want is available in the store or not by directly messaging them without having to visit the store.
There is no information on the availability of the same as of now as Google has not mentioned anything about it and moreover, the business needs to download the Google My Business app to accept the messages from the customers.
