The Gionee Elife E8 comes with a whooping 3 GB of RAM which is very good compared to other devices in this range. Although we have 3 GB of RAM memory, only 1168 MB is user accessible and the rest of it will be used by the OS and other back ground applications along with the Amigo v3.1 UI.
AmiClone, is a new feature that as been included to E8. With this, we can transfer all the date (messages, contacts, images, apps) easily in one click. Its just like cloning you old device to the new one as its name suggests.
To set-up fingerprint sensor on E8, go to the settings of the device and tap on the the option security. Now we can see the Fingerprint option that has to be selected. There is a message stating to set-up phone security password. After setting the password, it will ask you for a security question and answer. To activate the slide up control center feature go to the Settings of the device and select the option Control center. Now we can turn on or turn off this feature accordingly. This helps us to get access to the quick settings of the phone without having to unlock the device. The user just need to swipe to top from the bottom when the device is locked.
