Samsung has finally decided to put an end to the wait by announcing the official dates for the availability of the replacement units of the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. In an official statement, Samsung confirmed that the new Note 7 replacement units would arrive in the US, no later than September 21st. These units will be available in most retail stores and consumers will be able to purchase them or replace the existing ones. So if you are in the US and are looking for a replacement, then mark your calendars for next week.

If you are still using one, then it is advised that you immediately power down your device and refrain from using it till September 21st. The company officially stated that they are asking owners to act now by powering down their Note7 devices and receive a replacement device or a complete refund through their exchange program. According to this exchange program, customers in the US who have purchased the Galaxy Note 7 before September 15th are given three choices. You can either exchange your current Note 7 to a new one when the replacement units arrive.
