They have a variety of products to choose from ranging from basic activity trackers to full-fledged smart watch type of design that shows notifications etc. They have been doing exceptionally good with their sales here in the country, and now it looks like they are going to expand their business further. They are already doing a great job with online sales with websites like Amazon India, etc.

Fitbit today announced that they are going to add new national distribution partners with this expansion. They announced Rashi Peripherals as a new national distribution partner to help expand its market reach across India. With this new addition, the company now has over thousand new stores across India selling their products. And definitely, the company is not going to stop with this.

The company entered the Indian market back in August last year and since then has achieved great success in terms of reaching out to people. It is reported that thousands of people across the country have experienced the benefits of using a fitness tracker and have achieved their fitness goals. It is also one of the pioneers in the country when it comes to fitness trackers. And now after adding Rashi Peripherals to the list, which is one of India’s leading technology distributors, who supplies to more than 9,000 smaller owner-operated retailers across 750 cities and towns across the country.

Talking about their fitness bands, the company’s latest offering is the Fitbit Alta. It offers great functionality and is also very appealing in terms of design and ergonomics. The company also launched the Fitbit Blaze, which is a smart watch & fitness tracker hybrid. It was hugely welcomed by consumers in the market. So now we can expect more new products, officially rolling out soon in the country with all this offline expansion.

Update: Our earlier title mentioned that they went offline, but that’s not true. Now they have expanded to new retail partners. Fitbit was always available offline – across Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios, Vijay Sales and Jumbo Stores. The cities are being expanded by adding Rashi Peripherals on board as national distributors.
